Robert Moss(Man in the Chair) began his life in the theater in New Jersey while still in high school. Variety noticed the teenager in a new play, lauding him with "contributing better than average strawhat thesping." Thus encouraged, he built a career consisting of stage-managing, directing, producing and teaching and, on occasion, acting. His most recent appearances were on the Hangar stage in Ithaca, serving playwrights as disparate as Bertold Brecht, Neil Simon and his beloved Wendy Wasserstein. It all continues to be joyous.
